The SunGard Public Sector Third Party Solution Provider Program marks a new era in our alliance relationships that clarifies and formalizes the types and levels of service offered by our trusted third-party collaborators. Through clear categories, enhanced levels of participation, and upgraded benefits for vendors, customers will enjoy more comprehensive support and can choose with confidence from a roster of pre-approved and fully integrated third-party solution providers.

Successful solution provider relationships are our first priority, and we believe they require good listening skills. The SunGard Public Sector Solution Provider Program is in direct response to customer feedback and an acknowledgement of the importance of the network to SunGard Public Sector's clients. We are actively promoting the SunGard Public Sector Solution Provider Program with a focus on making it the premier partner network in the Public Sector.

We offer three levels of solution providers with corresponding benefits. Each level is defined by requirements regarding participation, quality, service, and support. They are designed to provide clear guidelines to users on the level of committment from each third-party solution provider and can help you make informed decisions on which vendor will best suit your specific needs.

Providers invited to participate at the Premier Solution Provider level are market leaders who have made significant business and technical commitments to SunGard Public Sector. Premier solution providers are distinguished by business model, number of mutual customers, level of investment, and level of strategic value in the marketplace. Additionally, Premier solution providers have strong customer service and a strategy and vision to those of SunGard Public Sector. At the highest partnership level, both SunGard Public Sector and the Premier Member invest considerable resources in the partnership to achieve joint business goals.

All vendors active at the Premier Solution Provider level must complete testing with the most recent version of SunGard Public Sector software utilized with their product and have it certified by SunGard Public Sector.


SunGard Public Sector has aligned with a handful of service providers that deliver valuable assistance and help customers realize their vision of an integrated solution for their community. Preferred solution providers help offer customers a compelling joint value proposition by leveraging the strengths of SunGard Public Sector’s solutions and the Solution Providers complementary skill set.

Preferred Solution Providers offer products that are certified by SunGard Public Sector for use with the most current release of relevant SunGard Public Sector products.


Providers in the Approved Solution Provider category deliver products through a basic referral agreement. These vendors utilize standard interfaces or have standalone products that complement the existing SunGard Public Sector products.

Approved Solution Providers are Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that develop applications to
distribute and support directly or through other channels. Venders in this category have the opportunity to enhance their value proposition, broaden their opportunity and extend their reach in the marketplace by integrating with SunGard Public Sector products.
