SunGard has received considerable interest from a number of forces in respect to its development programme to produce a digital recording solution to be deployed within the Custody and Case Preparation environment.
The benefits achieved increase dramatically the further you go down the integration path. A standalone system just moves forces away from a dying analogue technology and enables continuity of service.
SunGard’s solution interfaces directly with current NSPIS systems and our own UNIFI Records Management System and will extend the benefits as it enables pertinent information to be extracted from Custody, inserted into Case Preparation and aligned to centrally stored digital interviews.
SunGard understand the current Custody environment and know how such a technological change could provide demonstrable benefits. Discussion Forces believe that this would be extremely beneficial and provide benefits within the first year of deployment.
