SunGard Public Sector have teamed up with Xantura to provide Public Sector organisations with a high quality citizen engagement tool that enables public sector organisations and their strategic partners to interact with and motivate local citizens. SpringTV strategically assists public sector organisations to address the citizen engagement challenges posed by the strong and prosperous communities and communities in control white papers, the Audit Commission's key lines of enquiries and a range of national indicators such as NI4, NI6, NI8, NI14 and many more.
The devolution of power from central to local Government agencies and ultimately into the hands of Citizens, to help shape their communities and achieve a sense of 'place', will only be facilitated by the adoption of more innovative citizen-centred communication strategies and initiatives.

Spring TV is driving innovation forward in the context of the citizen engagement agenda and will help public sector organisations engage in a more effective and powerful dialogue with their citizens.
The channel utilises face-to-face touch points (such as customer service centres, cash offices, benefits offices, leisure centres, GP surgeries and hospital waiting areas) where local citizens of all ages gather to obtain vital public services.
Each selected touch point hosts a SpringTV LCD screen which is fed with compelling content from a fully hosted managed service during opening hours. SpringTV users can access this environment via the internet to adjust programming content and to create new content schedules.
By understanding the unique characteristics of a touch point (in terms of demographics and footfall) SpringTV project managers work in partnership with clients to design highly tailored programmes and content to encourage greater citizen engagement, promoting access to services and gathering feedback.
