Mobile Computing (OSSI)

SunGard Public Sector’s OSSI Mobile Suite helps deliver information to your agency and to officers in the field when it’s needed. The OSSI Mobile Suite is a feature-rich Windows®-based toolset for your field officers, supervisors, and telecommunicators that integrates flexible Mobile Computing Technology (OSSI MCT), Mobile Field Reporting (OSSI MFR), and Message Switch applications into a simple, easy-to-use package.

Mobile Computing Technology puts information at officers’ fingertips. Wireless-enabled technology allows mobile users to interact with SunGard Public Sector’s OSSI CAD, OSSI RMS, and OSSI JMS while in the field.

Mobile Field Reporting allows officers to generate and submit incident, supplement, field contact, and accident reports in the field. Officers can also submit information related to parking tickets, traffic stop statistics, and canine officer activities.

Message Switch equips agencies with technology to exchange information without using voice channels over radio networks.
